School Rules

  1. It is mandatory for all the students to bring the Almanac to school every day.
  2. The students should affix his/her photograph and fill in the required information, duly signed by the parents, in the space provided in the Almanac.
  3. It is mandatory for students to wear their 1- Cards during school hours.
  4. The school gates will be closed for students sharp at 8:10 a.m. in summer and 8:40 a.m. in winters. Students who come to school by their own conveyance should reach on time.
  5. The school uniform, should be immaculate, clean, smart, and should be worn on all working days, school functions and PTMs.
  6. Boys should have neatly trimmed hair and girls should neatly tie in plaits. No jewelry or make up is permitted with the exception of light stud earrings. Nail should be neatly trimmed and shoes well-polished. The hemline of the skirt worn by the girl student should touch the knee.
  7. No expensive items should be brought to school.
  8. Name, class, section and admission number must be clearly marked on all the belongings of students.
  9. Special care must be taken of all school property. Do not litter and use the garbage bins. Do not scratch or spoil the desks, chairs and charts or damage school furniture. Do not write or draw anything on the walls or damage things/belongings of others.
  10. Damage or breakage done even accidentally should be reported to the class teacher. The students will be required to pay for any damage to school property. The school reserves the right to suspend/expel students whose conduct is harmful to other students or to the school.
  11. Display of violence, bullying and use of foul language inside or outside the school is strictly prohibited and punishable as per school rules. Any such case should be immediately brought to the notice of the Academic Incharge & Principal.
  12. Students are not permitted to leave the school premises during the school hours without prior permission of the Principal or the Academic Head.
  13. Students must move in an orderly manner while they are moving from one place to another in the school premises.
  14. Students are not allowed to bring personal sports equipment to the school.
  15. Students are allowed to use school canteen during break time only and they are not permitted to buy eatables from vendors outside the school premises.
  16. Misbehavior inside the school premises or in the school conveyance may also lead to disciplinary action against the concerned student. Objectionable behavior, discourtesy and disrespect to the teachers by students/parents/guardians, disobedience and irregular attendance will also lead to strict disciplinary action.
  17. No student is allowed to come to school in self driven vehicle.
  18. Any student found using unfair means during tests will not be marked in that subject. Repetitionof the same will result in suspension/expulsion from the school.
  19. The medium of conversation in the school premises should be strictly English.
  20. Students are not allowed to use the school telephones unless it’s an emergency. No student will be allowed to use the phone during academic hours unless permitted by the Team Leader/Principal.
  21. Performance Profile will be issued twice a year, at mid-session and at the end of the Academic session.
  22. The school infirmary caters to the well-being of the students. A nurse is available for the physicaland mental welfare of the students.
  23. If the child feels unwell after coming to school and the resident doctor deems it appropriate that he/she needs to be sent for further diagnosis or back home, the parents will be called to school to take the student back. Half day can be allowed in such cases.
  24. Mobiles are strictly prohibited in the SCHOOL or in the BUS. Special permission must be soughtin written by parents for emergencies. They may write to the Principal/Academic Incharges about the same. Any breach will result in confiscating of the mobile.
  25. Parents are requested to intimate the school office promptly about any change of address or telephone number if any, to enable the school office to contact them quickly in case of emergency.
  26. Students are expected to take good care of their books, stationary, uniform and all personalbelongings.
  27. A certificate of merit will be given to students with 100% attendance.
  28. No leave will be entertained during weekly tests, oral exams or examination, except in medical cases and sports participation.
  29. A pupil can leave the school premises at timings other than the regular ones only when permission has been granted by Principal against a written request from parent.
  30. Any communication from the parents should be addressed to the class teachers and all correspondence from the school to the parents/guardians must go through the Principal.

 

RULES REGARDING ABSENCE:

  1. If your child is absent, please inform the school; preferably your child’s class teacher, promptlyin writing. For any absence on mandatory dates, permission should be taken in advance failingwhich strict action will be taken.
  2. Repeated absence without sanctioned leave or unexplained absence for more than ten consecutive days will render the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. Readmission may be granted only on payment of fresh admission fee of Rs 2000.
  3. Leave for going out of station should be approved before proceeding on leave.
  4. Students suffering from any communicable diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class. It is compulsory for the parents to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate before sending their child to re-join the school.
  5. It is compulsory for the students to complete 80% of the attendance in an academic session to be eligible to appear for the final examination. The percentage, however, can be relaxed on bona-fide medical grounds.
